Croa May Bigham

	Cora May Bigham, age 93, formerly of Cutler, passed away Friday, March 19, 2004 in Fair Acres Nursing Home, Du Quoin.
	Cora was born in Cutler on February 11,1911, the daughter of Luther and Myrtle (Brown) McClure.  She married Lawrence Leslie Bigham on  May 9, 1931 in Cutler and he preceded her in death on July 16, 2001.  She was a member of the Galum Presbyterian Church, Pinckneyville, and had attended Denmark Baptist Church, Denmark, and Cutler Presbyterian Church.  Her life revolved around helping other people.  She worked at the Pinckneyville Community Hospital for 20 years as a C.N.A.  and loved gardening.
	Cora is survived by four sons, John Bigham of Murphysboro, Leslie Bigham of Richland Heights, Tex., Robert Bigham of Florissant, Mo. and Tom Bigham of Du Quoin; seven daughters, Bonita Wampler of Du Quoin, Barbara Tempero of Longmont, Calif., Ann Salto of Altamont, Frances Nevins and Mary Kent of Bridgeton, Ind., Martha Mansker of Willisville and Erna Moon of Black, Mo.; 38 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren; 23 great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Elza Tommy McClure of Grand Tower and numerous other relatives and friends.
	Cora was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Richard; sister, Velma Rury; two brothers, Calvin and James McClure; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
	Funeral services were held on Monday, March 22 at 2 p.m. in the First United Presbyterian Church, Pinckneyville.  Interment was in the Galum Presbyterian Cemetery, rural Pinckneyville.
	Friends called at the Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, on Sunday from 5 until 9 p.m. and again on Monday from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m., then at the church from 1 p.m. until services.
	Memorials may be made to the Pinckneyville Community Hospital.
